What’s been happening:

I worked as Director of Research and Development of Color Products in the foreign division of Ferro Corporation, an international company with headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio. The company is a major worldwide supplier of basic materials for the manufacturing of glass coatings and colorants for ceramic tile, plastics, porcelain enamel, paints, etc. It has plants, offices and warehouses in over 50 countries. After working in Cleveland for 20 years I was transferred to the international division where initially I worked in Canada, Brazil, Argentina, and Japan. After this I relocated to Europe where I worked periodically in Ferro Installations in England, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Holland, and Portugal, also visiting Russia in business. After retirement in June 1991, my wife Beatrice and I moved to Sarasota, Florida. Since working with wood is my main hobby, I joined the Florida West Coast Woodworkers Club, Inc. I have a small shop in my garage, and I really enjoy designing and making all kinds of wooden items for neighbors, family, and friends. My wife and I have 6 children, one daughter and 5 sons (one deceased), 12 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. We are members of St. James U.M.C. and The Brotherhood of Elks Lodge 2855 of Lakewood Ranch, Sarasota.
